Vidoze BV

Our first investment from Vidoze was in Peerz. Now they’re hiring designers and developers.

Peerz, the first company Vidoze invested in, signed an agreement with Aamigoo Group to issue shares. After completing the Due Dilligence, Aamigoo Group will own 50% of Peerz BV. Within 3 years they have the option to extend their ownership to 90%.

Amsterdam’s latest startup is Guidecase BV, founded by Marieke Schoutsen. Their main focus right now is developing and testing an online system that gives you the advice your family doctor gives you. In the process they are building a system that makes it easy for any
medical professional to make and use decision support. Prototype has been online for a while and is showing high visitor counts, conversion rates and very nice feedback stats. A beta version of the first advice module is online in Dutch: www.keelpijncheck.nl

Together with another angel investor Vidoze supplied the seed capital to create the new entity and start working on the first version. We are very excited to be part of Guidecase.

Rockstart Accelerator is an extremely intensive program to help Europe’s most talented, driven and innovative entrepreneurs launch their startups. They will support 10 teams of founders for 100 days, starting March 2012. Vidoze is part of their program in the person of Ian Zein as a mentor.

Vidoze decided to partner up with Startup Weekend Amsterdam after attending one of the informal meetups. Because Vidoze aims to invest in around 5 startups this year we would like to get in contact with several talented teams who are working on interesting ideas.
